IDB clean up the Racecourse channel

The IDB have recently cleared part of the brook near the Racecourse which had become badly choked with fallen trees, and growth encroaching into the channel. The work was carried out under a cooperation agreement between the Internal Drainage Board and the Environment Agency. We look forward to seeing small improvements in conveyance and a reduction in flood risk to properties at the end of Low Road, the Rugby Club, Racecourse buildings and nearby farmland.
