Fabulous Fundraiser

A very big thank you to Nick and the Alconbury Weston Open Garden Team for a fabulous Flood Group fundraising afternoon which raised well over £900.

The event was attended by at least 200 people from the village and beyond who enjoyed a programme of live music and impromptu dancing under late summer sunshine.

Another highlight was an extraordinary raffle with prizes ranging from a mountain bike to a year's worth of sausages.

We are very grateful to all those who contributed prizes, including Waitrose, the Co-op and Franks Farm.
